As a Correctional Officer, you will work 12-hour shifts for 12 to 14 days each month. The schedule is structured so that every other week, you will enjoy a three-day weekend, providing you with valuable time to recharge and balance your personal life, and a paycheck once every month.

Your Day-to-Day as Our Correctional Officer

Each day, you will step into a vital role maintaining the security and order of our facility. You will monitor inmate activity, conduct well-being checks, and oversee programs and recreational activities to support inmates' rehabilitation. Your responsibilities will also include managing booking and court processing and rotating between different teams and areas such as booking, maximum security, and main housing units.

You will respond to situations as part of the Correctional Emergency Response Team when needed, always staying alert and proactive to resolve issues before they escalate. As part of a dedicated team, you will continuously learn and develop your skills, making a real impact on the safety and well-being of both the inmates and the community.
