Senior Property Maintenance Technician – DIRECT HIRE
Location: Fargo, ND
Pay: $28.00/hour, higher for the right candidate
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
On-Call: Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
Kelly Services is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician for a direct opportunity in Fargo, ND. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be the go‑to maintenance expert for a residential property.
In this role, you’ll serve as the on‑site maintenance leader responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining building systems while helping keep the property running safely, smoothly, and looking its best.

- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general building system issues
- Leading and completing apartment turns to meet move‑in deadlines and quality standards
- Prioritizing, completing, and closing out resident service requests
- Performing preventative maintenance to keep the property operating at a high level
- Coordinating and managing third‑party vendors as needed
- Maintaining shop organization, tools, inventory, and supply levels
- Keeping property interiors and exteriors clean, safe, and well maintained
- Providing professional, responsive customer service to residents, prospects, and property owners
- Supporting positive resident interactions and a high‑quality living experience
- Following Fair Housing guidelines and company policies
- Participating in a rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours maintenance emergencies
- Have 3+ years of maintenance experience, multifamily/property maintenance preferred
- Have strong hands‑on troubleshooting skills
- Have HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience, EPA certification preferred/required
- Have experience with plumbing systems, including fixtures, leaks, and water heaters
- Can troubleshoot basic electrical issues, including outlets, switches, breakers, and lighting
- Have appliance repair experience, preferred
- Are comfortable with drywall, painting, basic carpentry, and full unit turns
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Take ownership of your work and can prioritize tasks throughout the day
- Can lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
