Electrical Apprentice

Century Builders is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team supporting large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects, including hyperscale data centers. This role provides hands‑on training under licensed electricians while contributing to safe, high-quality electrical installations in fast‑paced construction environments.

The Electrical Apprentice assists Journeyman and Master Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in the electrical trade, developing technical skills, and gaining experience on complex commercial and industrial construction projects.

• Assist electricians with the installation of conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, and electrical equipment.
• Pull, label, and organize electrical wire and materials according to project requirements.
• Set up tools, equipment, and work areas to support daily operations.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Track and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs.
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable electrical codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician or site leadership.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in, or willing to enroll in, a registered electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Previous construction or electrical experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Full-time, site-based position on active commercial construction projects.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, heights, confined spaces, and typical construction‑site hazards.
• Overtime and extended work hours may be required during peak construction phases.
• Travel to project sites may be required.
