Crane Service Technician
In this position, you will work in both a shop and field setting to service industrial trucks, including Bucket Trucks, Manitex, and IMT cranes. The role requires proficiency in hydraulics and electrical systems, and involves some work on connectors and compressors. You will utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues, with some opportunities for welding, though it is not mandatory.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on various crane systems.
- Repair hoses, work on aerials, replace booms, and attend to pivots.
- Conduct field repairs on hydraulic and electrical components of trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and repair operations.
- Travel to surrounding states for field service, potentially being away Monday through Friday.
- Experience in hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of crane systems.
- Comfortable with travel and working in tight spaces.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minor welding experience is beneficial but not required.
- Experience with crane inspection, assembly, wiring, and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with hand tools, electronics, and fabrication.

Work EnvironmentWork in a well-equipped shop and on the road as a field service technician. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with flexibility for family commitments. Field service roles require travel and working away from home during the week.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
