Perform routine maintenance and repair of various types of heavy equipment and trucks and to assist with maintenance of asphalt plant in Fargo, ND. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic might operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect for defects. Moderate to heavy lifting, bending, reaching and stooping are required.
Education/Expertise- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL A preferred
- Must pass required pre-employment urine drug screen
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and be flexible to work overtime and weekends and extensive summer travel
- Welding, hydraulic, electrical experience preferred
