Technician
Join our team to build and modify trucks, trailers, dumpsters, garbage trucks, street sweepers, and cardboard compactors. You will perform service on these products either in the field or in the shop as needed, involving electrical wiring, hydraulic repair/install, and welding on trucks. Work will be based off blueprints for new builds and service manuals for in-field repairs.
Responsibilities- Build and modify various types of trucks and equipment.
- Perform service and maintenance on products both in the field and in the shop.
- Conduct electrical wiring, hydraulic repairs and installations, and welding on trucks.
- Utilize blueprints and service manuals for building and repair tasks.
- Experience in welding and working with blueprints.
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems for vehicles or industrial equipment.
- Possession of personal tools such as sockets, impacts, wrenches, and basic electrical testing equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months of automotive shop experience preferred.
- Diesel experience is also applicable.
- Hobby experience in relevant areas is considered.
- Possession of a CDL is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a mid-size shop with around 10-12 employees. Our team usually works in groups of 2-3 on projects, though smaller projects may be handled individually. The standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday (September to May), and from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Thursday (June to August).
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of FARGO, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
