This position requires working Monday through Friday from 6am to 5pm with overnight travel being uncommon. The role involves performing and assisting with various duties on commercial job sites, including measuring and cutting materials for use.
Responsibilities- Perform various duties on commercial job sites.
- Measure and cut materials as required.
- Comfortable working at heights and with general construction tasks.
- Utilize hand tools effectively.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Capability to read and understand measurements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous construction experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Commercial flat roofing experience is preferred but not required.

Work EnvironmentThe company operates at a fast pace and stays busy year-round. Summer hours range from 50-60 hours per week, while winter hours are 35-45 hours per week. Work begins between 6 and 7am and ends between 5 and 6:30pm, with some Saturdays required. Employees work in teams of 5-6 individuals led by a foreman. Outdoor work is halted during heavy winds and rainfall, but longer days and Saturdays are used to make up hours lost to weather.
Dress code includes shirts with sleeves, safety glasses, and boots.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
