Journeyman Electrician

Location: Fargo, ND 58104
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week

The Journeyman Electrician will perform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, applicable codes, and safety procedures while maintaining high-quality workmanship and professionalism.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Work independently or collaboratively with project teams to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company and job site safety policies and procedures.

Required

• Current North Dakota or Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools commonly associated with electrical work.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Occasional travel within North Dakota and Minnesota may be required.
• Overnight stays may be necessary depending on project location.
• Company-paid hotel accommodations and per diem are provided for required overnight travel.
