Overview
Encompass Family Support Services is a dedicated team focused on guiding, supporting, and providing individualized programming for families to help them thrive.
What We DoAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in their home settings, supporting them in achieving personal goals through customized service plans.
Key Responsibilities- In-Home Support Services: work directly with individuals in their family home toward personal goals.
- Build meaningful relationships and positively impact the lives of children and families.
- Participate in a diverse and engaging work environment with ongoing professional development.
- Receive competitive wage and benefit from flexible scheduling.
- Support children/young adults in their home or community, engaging in community events.
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care: bathing, brushing teeth, household chores.
- Play and mentor children/young adults, meeting them at their level.
- Assist with coping and communication skills.
- Complete all required documentation and training.
- Age 18 or older.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
- Proof of vehicle insurance.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to a consistent schedule.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and behavioral challenges is a plus.
- Willingness to work in homes with pets (cats and dogs).
- Competitive pay: $16‑$18 per hour (DOE).
- Location:
Fargo, ND.
- Evening shift.
