• Work Arrangement:
  This role requires 3 days/week in the office at one of the listed locations
• Salary range: $93,000–$139,000, depending on experience and location

• Design effective applications for business use by analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions to key stakeholders
• Support project efficiency by collaborating with business system analysts, business unit teams and project managers to set appropriate schedules, tasks and quality guidelines for application development projects
• Mentor team in building applications by assisting with resource estimation, translating specifications into code, forecasting solutions and resolving escalated issues
• Coordinate testing of functionality and analyze data-sets to ensure accuracy of program output, identify issues and support quality assurance
• Assist junior developers by reviewing design and code, clarifying issues, troubleshooting, and refining processes and technical standards
• Deliver detailed documentation for operation of complex programs to facilitate user understanding
• Liaise with vendors by communicating enhancement needs and operational issues
• Contribute to a positive work environment by upholding organizational values and encouraging collaboration, accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, MIS, Software Engineering or related field preferred
• Ideally Expert (or equivalent) or Practitioner within one or more processes

• 5 years relevant experience

• Define, generate and adapt technology to serve user needs
• Design, set-up, operate, and diagnose malfunctions involving application of technological systems
• Anticipate obstacles and estimate time and resources for project completion
• Effective written and verbal communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Methodical evaluation of situations; present logic and analysis clearly
• Conceptualize and innovate creative solutions; assist with project management
• Understand team dynamics and leverage individual strengths
• Collaborate across organizational levels to achieve common goals
• Multi-task and manage changing priorities; adjust plans as needed
• Act with a sense of urgency and adapt in a changing environment
• Engage in continuing education related to the job
• Stay current with new and emerging technologies relevant to responsibilities

• Experience developing cloud-based solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing
• Experience with code reviews and mentoring
• Experience collaborating with Product/UX (Figma), translating designs into reusable components and contributing to design systems
• Experience integrating front ends with microservices via REST, including auth flows and versioned APIs
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Advanced React (hooks, state management) and modern JavaScript/Type Script
• Front-end quality practices: unit/integration testing, code reviews, linting, performance profiling
• Knowledge of data access and segregation strategies, RBAC/ABAC, least-privilege access
• Familiarity with distributed systems: event-driven patterns, idempotency, retries, observability
• Working knowledge of .NET (C#) and ORMs
• REST APIs and microservices
• Front-end frameworks like React or Angular
• Working knowledge of Oracle or similar relational databases
