Overview
This position supports daily yard, shipping, and receiving operations by safely handling heavy construction equipment, aggregate equipment and attachments. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, documentation, inventory tracking, forklift operation, and maintaining an organized, efficient yard. The role also assists with loading/unloading trucks, moving equipment in and out of shops, snow removal, and occasional deliveries to customer job sites.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Accurate and timely completion of equipment shipping and receiving records (EMM’s).
- Take in/out pictures of equipment/attachments and submit them to appropriate personnel.
- Must verify the S/Ns of equipment and attachments and ensure information is documented.
- Complete damage inspections of all equipment entering the facility.
- Operate, load and unload heavy construction equipment and attachments in a safe manner.
- Organize equipment for yard operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard/workspace.
- Complete all paperwork required for jobs and submit to the appropriate people in a timely manner.
- Perform other additional duties as directed by management.
- Perform quarterly inventory reports for sales department items.
- Move aggregate equipment in and out of shops with a semi-truck as needed.
- Run various size forklifts (5,000 lb to 30,000 lb) daily.
- Load and unload shuttle trucks daily.
- Occasionally deliver sales items to customer job sites.
- Obtain and maintain DOT health card (under other requirements).

- Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Requires basic computer literacy.
- Obtains or is willing to obtain a CDL license; but is not required.

- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.
- Organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks with focus.
