Job Title: Forklift Operator I – Second Shift
Location: Fargo, ND
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
About the PositionKelly is hiring a Second Shift Forklift Operator for our client’s warehouse team. In this role, you’ll operate forklifts—including reach trucks—to move, stack, and count merchandise safely and efficiently. You’ll help keep warehouse operations accurate and productive.
What You’ll Do- Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks.
- Move, stack, and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Unload incoming shipments and place products in storage.
- Prepare and pull products for shipments based on customer needs.
- Ensure correct product types and quantities are shipped.
- Use RF scanners and complete basic inventory paperwork.
- Assist with physical and cycle inventory counts.
- Rotate and maintain inventory, reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Keep your work area clean and safe, following all safety procedures.
- Report any safety concerns or issues right away.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required.
- Minimum 6 months operating a sit-down forklift and reach truck (required)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and computer skills (including Excel).
- Effective customer service skills.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for 10–12 hours per shift.
- Able to lift and pull 10–50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in conditions with varying noise, lighting, and temperature.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
