Valley Imports, a subsidiary of Wallwork Inc., is looking to hire a warehouse/delivery driver to join our Fargo team.
$19-$23/hr monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (hours may vary, flexibility to adjust schedule as needed).
JOB SUMMARYThe responsibilities for the warehouse position include verifying and stocking incoming parts and shipments into the warehouse and preparing parts for delivery in a timely manner, adhering to company-wide safety standards, working well within a team, and maintaining regular attendance. This role requires an H.S. diploma or equivalent; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; and the ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.
Educationand Years of Experience
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Skills and Abilities
- Must possess general math skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player in the department.
- Load and unload semi trailers and box trucks using the loading dock.
- Check-in freight and put parts away in the correct location in the warehouse.
- Pick orders, package, and invoice.
- Cycle count parts ensuring counts are correct compared to the online business system.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Occasional in‑state delivery and pickup of parts in the Bismarck/Minot area.
- Safely and properly prepare parts for deliveries.
- Keep company vehicles clean and maintained.
- Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operate the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately report any safety concerns or company policy violations to management.
- Verify inventory with paperwork.
- Load and unload part orders.
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming parts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings, educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
