PBNA $32.10 / hour. to view our Driver Job Preview Video. This position delivers products to all types of customers, including Food service. The driver operates the delivery vehicle, delivers product to the store, and is responsible for rotating and stocking product on store shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment. They build small displays, set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners, generate invoices, and handle daily settlement of cash and charges.
Frequent interactions include store management and receiving personnel for load acceptance. Duties require lifting and loading cases between 20–45 pounds repeatedly, as well as pushing/pulling using 40–150 pounds of force, reaching, squatting and bending while delivering and merchandising. Unloading pallets using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck is also required.
- Deliver product and execute all promotions
- Serve all scheduled customers by the end of shift
- Merchandise all accounts to local standards
- Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
- 21 years or older
- Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
- Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
Note:
In California (except Stockton), both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.
- Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license (e.g., driving forwards, backwards, maneuvering tight spaces)
- Adhering to all DOT regulations (e.g., understanding documentation)
- Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, cleaning shelves, rotating product, removing out-of-stock items)
- Using equipment to aid in hauling loads (e.g., operating pallet jacks, dock plates, load bars, straps)
- Operating equipment such as pallet jacks, lift gates on trailers, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.
- Documenting DOT regulations (e.g., maintaining documentation such as medical cards)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Because the material job duties involve regular field work, including visiting customer locations, the Company will conduct a criminal history review following all applicable laws. Conditional offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
