Swab Rig Operator III

Job Description

Baranko Companies is currently seeking a Swab Rig Operator to join our team. As a Swabbing Operator, you will be responsible for operating swabbing equipment to remove fluids and material from oil and gas wells. This is a vital role in maintaining the productivity of the wells and ensuring smooth operations.

• Operate swabbing equipment to remove fluids from wellbores
• Monitor and maintain the operation of the swabbing unit
• Perform pre-operation inspections and maintenance on the equipment
• Assist with the installation and removal of swabbing units as needed
  
  Collect and document data related to the well/location and equipment performance
• Regularly engages in communication with the Supervisor and Clients to address any onsite concerns or issues
• Provides high-quality products and services to customers, ensuring productivity standards are met for all rig activities
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist other departments which may include operating a truck and other heavy equipment
• Perform other related duties as required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Swab Rig Operator
• Two years of experience working on a well servicing rig and/or two years of experience as a relief operator
• Class A CDL
• Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work and be willing to relocate to Dickinson, ND
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
