Position SummaryThis is a full time, hourly position. While using a forklift this position is responsible for the pulling and staging orders for delivery with extreme accuracy; unloading inbound shipments; ensuring specification and quantity of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; ensuring safe operations of vehicles; and maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment. This position may require shifts and weekends.
Job Responsibilities- Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
- Conducts physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses
- Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specification, quantity and quality of orders are correct
- Stocks equipment, materials and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required levels that will ensure availability of items when requested
- Processes report requests, documents, deliveries and/or materials for the purpose of disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties.
- Clean warehouse for the purpose of maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Forklift experience is required, Forklift Certified is preferred
- Strong math skills
- Frequent lifting of up to 55lbs
- Understand written procedures and write routine documents
- Strong reading skills
- Strong attention to detail
