Summer STEAM Program Managers Grades 1-8 (1-2 positions - site may vary)
Job Description: This position involves directly working with the program leads to assist with day-to-day program needs, including leading or assisting in a variety of classrooms and afternoon camps as necessary; helping with administrative tasks such as organizing supplies and entering data; serving as a mentor to Program Facilitators; and filling in where staffing vacancies exist.
Summer STEAM will run from June 22 through July 30, 2026, Monday - Thursday. There may be additional paid opportunities for staff interested in working bus supervision, family engagement events, and at the end of the program to assist with the pack up of Summer STEAM materials. There will be some required training dates for staff during the week of June 15, which will be communicated to all hired staff once details are finalized.
This position will report from 7:30am - 3:30pm at one of our Summer STEAM sites, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The pay rate for the role will be $21.61/hour. Applicants who are available for the entirety of the program will be considered first.
- Leading or assisting in a variety of classrooms and afternoon camps as necessary.
- Helping with administrative tasks such as organizing supplies and entering data.
- Serving as a mentor to Program Facilitators.
- Filling in where staffing vacancies exist.
- Experience with working in a summer camp setting and leading activities with youth.
- Ability to be a leader and be flexible with day-to-day duties.
- Knowledgeable of and experienced with the Summer STEAM program.
- Enrolled in, graduated from, or on track for a Bachelor's degree program.
