Job Title:
Healthcare and Wellness Program Lead - Summer STEAM (2 positions, 1 at each site)
This position will provide health support to students and help design and implement wellness activities for the Summer STEAM program. Duties include general first aid, helping to make decisions regarding student illness, making phone calls to parents, maintaining knowledge of health plans for each student, being responsible for student medication and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Review all student health conditions at the beginning of the program and notify proper program staff of any allergies or accommodations.
- Before any field trips, review rosters and ensure chaperons attending have required training and materials.
- Play a role in attendance plan by verifying that all teachers have submitted attendance each morning through Infinite Campus, and report daily student numbers and any allergies to food service.
- Coordinate with bus supervision as necessary.
Schedule:
Summer STEAM runs from June 22 through July 30, 2026, Monday - Thursday. Required training dates for staff during week of June 15. Report from 7:30am-3:30pm (reporting times may vary if doing bus supervision) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Rate: $30.14/hour. Applicants available for entirety of program considered first.
- Experience as a school nurse preferred, trained in first aid and CPR.
