Job Description
Full-time (1.0 FTE) Early Childhood Special Education Teacher position with Faribault Public Schools. This position serves children from birth through age 5, primarily supporting the home‑based birth to 3 program. The role includes conducting evaluations, developing IFSPs/IEPs, and providing evidence‑based special education interventions using the EQIP model within the birth‑to‑3 programming.
The position commences at the start of the 2026‑2027 school year and is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, ECSE teachers, an early learning coordinator, and a case facilitator.
Qualifications• Experience working with Early Childhood Special Education students and families in a variety of settings; knowledge of both typical and atypical child development; ability to administer and interpret evaluation and assessment procedures; experience developing and implementing IFSPs and IEPs; knowledge of due process forms and procedures; ability to work in a team with staff and parents; must be able to direct the work of paraprofessionals;
excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; travel within the community is a part of this position.
Preferred (but not required): ability to speak and understand Somali, Spanish, or American Sign Language. All candidates will be considered.

$259.04 – $485.53 depending on experience.
