Are you passionate about creating a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment? We're seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join a leading manufacturing facility in Faribault, Minnesota. In this role, you'll lead safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to foster a strong culture of workplace safety.

What You'll Do- Lead and support site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/EHS) programs.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver engaging employee safety training programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable environmental requirements.
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, compliance records, and reporting.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, HR, and leadership to continuously improve workplace safety.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and safety committee initiatives.
- Assist with industrial hygiene programs and environmental compliance efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HSE/EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs, including:
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Confined Space
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)
- Respiratory Protection
- Hearing Conservation
- Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and employee safety training.
- Working knowledge of environmental compliance, including:
- Wastewater
- Stormwater
- EPCRA Reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- ASP or GSP certification.
- Experience with SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Management.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support other manufacturing facilities.
