OverviewPheasants Forever and Quail Forever are seeking a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist in Rice County, Minnesota, to support the organization's mission of enhancing wildlife habitat through conservation programs. This position will work in joint capacity with USDA-NRCS and other partners to promote, implement, and coordinate enrollment in conservation provisions of the Federal Farm Bill and related programs, helping strengthen working lands conservation across the region.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical assistance and guidance to private landowners, government agencies, non-government organizations, and other groups through federal Farm Bill programs. Prepare conservation plans, implementation requirements, status reviews, wildlife habitat evaluation guides, activity reports, and other relevant work products and documents requiring biological expertise.
