As a Substance Use Therapist, you will provide specialized therapeutic programming to clients in an alcohol and other drug treatment program. You will be responsible for all aspects of program content, including security, assessment/evaluation, psycho-educational programming, monitoring and reporting, teaching, training and professional standards.

Work is in a Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Faribault with incarcerated individuals.

To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all the minimum qualifications listed below. • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure
  * by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalently qualified to perform alcohol and drug counseling under Minnesota Statute 148F.11.

* NOTE TO LICENSE-ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
Please include information regarding your license-eligibility in your resume or application. To maintain employment, the successful candidate who is eligible for LADC licensure must possess a temporary ADC permit within 60 calendar days of the first day of employment and current LADC license within the 6-month probationary period.

• One year of experience providing behavioral health services*
• An associate’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field may substitute for six months, a bachelor’s degree in a previously listed field may substitute for one year.

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity
  * by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalently qualified to perform alcohol and drug counseling under Minnesota Statute 148F.11.
