* Under limited supervision, this position provides specialized professional therapeutic programming to offenders in an alcohol and other drug treatment program. Incumbent is capable of performing all aspects of program content, including security, assessment/evaluation, psycho-educational programming, monitoring and reporting, teaching, training and professional standards.

This position will work within a Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF - Faribault) with direct contact with incarcerated individuals.

Current licensure or eligibility for licensure
* by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalently qualified to perform alcohol and drug counseling under Minnesota Statute 148F.11.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

One year of experience providing behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy, to clients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders.

OR

Master's degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling/Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science program**.
