Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership:
    Provide guidance and direction to the fabrication team to meet production targets and quality standards. Partner with the area Supervisor to determine weekly schedules and authorize overtime.
  • Workforce Coordination:
    Arrange and control daily team activities to ensure smooth workflow, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery. Assign tasks based on skills and workload.
  • Quality Control:
    Monitor the fabrication process to satisfy required quality, environmental, and safety regulations. Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions.
  • ERP Tracking and Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of production data in Epicor and track work progress.
  • Training and Development:
    Identify training needs, coach team members, and lead the development of fabrication skills. Drive positive recognition.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate with maintenance for repairs, and track machine downtime.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure team members have proper PPE.
  • Process Improvement:
    Continuously evaluate processes for efficiency and cost‑effectiveness. Champion 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of daily production and machine usage. Prepare reports for leadership on efficiency, material usage, and labor utilization.
  • Inventory Management:
    Manage internal inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support the Supervisor with safety audits and training program implementation.
  • Mentor hourly associates and facilitate problem‑solving.
Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, continuous‑improvement environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and MRP transactions (Epicor preferred).
  • Excellent people skills with proven ability to supervise, coach, and train employees.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional environment.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced/high‑growth environment.
  • Passion for Trystar, its culture, and a commitment to deliver on growth and performance metrics.
  • Bi‑lingual English/Spanish language capability is a plus.
