Tru Vue Inc. Manufacturing Process Operator
Location:
Faribault, Minnesota
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Starting at $22.50/hr
Who we areAt Tru Vue, you are not just keeping a line running. You are working with advanced coating technology that turns ordinary glass into high performance, anti‑reflective, UV‑protected optical products used in museums, galleries, photography, and precision industries. If you like solving problems, figuring out why something is happening, and getting hands‑on with complex equipment, this is your kind of environment.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor vacuum coating equipment and support systems.
- Adjust process settings to keep quality and yield on track.
- Troubleshoot equipment such as pumps, gauges, gas systems, and power supplies.
- Test, check, and document process data throughout the shift.
- Catch issues early and help fix root causes, not just symptoms.
- Work closely with quality and production teammates to improve results.
- Support maintenance and routine system care.
- Help train others as you build skill and confidence in the process.
This is a great fit if you are tired of "just pushing product" jobs and want something more technical. Here you will:
- Work with specialized equipment most facilities do not have.
- Learn a real process control system, not just basic machine operation.
- Build troubleshooting skills that translate into higher‑level technician roles.
- Be part of a team that actually listens to operators when improving the process.
- Have a consistent weekday schedule that gives you your evenings and weekends back.
You do not need to be an expert in coating systems. We will train you. We are looking for people who:
- Have manufacturing or mechanical experience (even if informal or hands‑on).
- Are comfortable following detailed work instructions and SOPs.
- Can stay organized and accurate with data entry and documentation.
- Like figuring out why things do not work and how to fix them.
- Are dependable and show up ready to work as part of a team.
- Are okay working around machinery in a production environment.
- Bonus: have worked with pumps, testing equipment, vacuum systems, or process control.
You will work both in a control‑room style setting and on the production floor. It can get loud on the floor, and you will be on your feet during parts of the shift. The work is hands‑on, active, and technical.
