Machine Operator – Temp to Hire
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
The Machine Operator safely operates the Extrusion Line to manufacture high-quality cable products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Operate cable manufacturing equipment safely and meet quality standards
- Read and follow job orders, SOPs, and production procedures
- Use Epicor for job tracking and complete production paperwork
- Set up and maintain equipment using hand tools
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Assist with other duties as needed
- 2+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and basic computer/data entry skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma preferred; technical training is a plus
- Must follow all PPE and safety requirements and pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
