Shift: 2nd/3rd shift
Job Requirements- Check loads of plate for possible problems before running them on slitter.
- Accurately filling out production reports from load tickets.
- Inspect body blanks being produced for quality, margins, surface scratches, squareness, color variation.
- Feed body blanks into welder.
- Feed ends into Double Seamers and check the quality of ends.
- Empty slitter straw tubs and keep work area clean.
- Assist maintainer to produce good quality and quantity.
- Use process control to maintain good quality of work and monitor quality of products produced.
- Responsible for providing own tools needed to perform the job.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift between 10 lbs - 50 lbs.
- Stand at workstation for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Must have verifiable mechanical, technical aptitude and experience.
