We are seeking qualified individuals to join Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Crown Holdings, Inc., as a Slitter Operator. The role involves ensuring quality and efficiency in production, maintaining a clean work area, and using process control tools.

• Check loads of plate for possible problems before running them on slitter.
• Accurately fill out production reports from load tickets.
• Inspect body blanks for quality, margins, surface scratches, squareness, and color variation.
• Feed body blanks into welder.
• Feed ends into Double Seamers and check the quality of ends.
• Empty slitter straw tubs and keep the work area clean.
• Assist maintainer to produce good quality and quantity.
• Use Process Control to maintain good quality of work and monitor quality of products produced.
• Provide your own tools needed to perform the job.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift between 10 lbs. and 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand at workstation for the duration of the scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding the English language.
• Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Verifiable mechanical and technical aptitude and experience.

2nd and 3rd shift. Second shift differential: 45 cents. Third shift differential: 40 cents.
