Shift: 1st shift 5:48am–4:18am Monday‑Thursday; 2nd shift 4:48pm–3:18am Monday‑Thursday;
Weekend Shift 6:00am–6:30pm Friday‑Sunday.

Responsibilities
  • Make adjustments to ensure proper machine function and perform minor maintenance such as TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) and tooling setup on machine as required.
  • Utilize and manage Night‑Train inventory storage and retrieval system.
  • Operate ToolsUS software/programs and adjust tooling according to specific parameters.
  • Effective use of computer to manage up time sheets, run schedules and other software‑related tasks to organize and maintain production standards.
  • Set up and maintain ink‑jet printer to ensure proper part identification.
  • Set up and operate panelbender in accordance with outlined methods and procedures to form various parts safely and properly.
  • Ensure parts are positioned properly to produce parts that conform with engineering drawings.
  • Observe machine operation to detect work‑piece defects or machine malfunction.
  • Measure work‑piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
  • Adjust on machine and programs as required; remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work‑piece to comply with quality standards.
  • Stack, mark, and transport finished parts to maintain proper workflow.
  • Responsible for maintaining the 5S program for the work area.
  • Use measuring equipment such as tape measure, caliper, etc.
  • Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production.
  • Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.
  • Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.
  • Use hand tools.
  • Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) and obtain PIT license.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
  • Ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • High School Education/GED or minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
