1:45p-10:15pm, M-F, OT as needed

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Canning Technician is to operate can making equipment including the depalletizer/palletizer, can conveyor systems, lid feeder, body former, lead detector and can detection systems. Monitor the process of the canning systems so that product quality is guaranteed and package integrity is assured.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with Quality Assurance, executing and supporting all quality programs that ensure the production of safe, quality foods.
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of assigned equipment on the canning line. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and of company assets.
Request products and materials to assure that the business unit goals and customer orders are achieved in a timely fashion.
Complete assigned paperwork daily. Document all required operational checks. Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
Perform proper sanitation and line observation.
