Role Overview

Controls Technician - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support the programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated control systems within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the reliability of electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in PLC and HMI systems, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

This position requires close collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support operational goals and enhance overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems to ensure optimal performance of automation systems
  • Analyze and resolve electrical and control system issues, including diagnosing faults in wiring, components, and logic circuits
  • Perform continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and uptime
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production, maintenance, and process improvement efforts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of control systems, updates, and modifications
  • Assist in system upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new equipment
Shift Timings:

Hours:

Monday to Friday, from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in PLC programming and HMI systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of logic circuits and electrical troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and improve analog and digital control systems
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • College coursework or technical training in electronics, controls, or a related field is preferred
