Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM, Monday - Thursday

- Read and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications todeterminesequence and methods of fabricating,assemblingand installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements
- Set up, program, andoperatebrake pressesin accordance with outlined methods and procedures tosafely and properly form variousparts
- Set stops or guides to specified length asindicatedby scale,ruleortemplate
- Position work piece against stops or align layout marks with die orblade
- Coordinate foot and hand motions tooperateequipment, including footpedals
- Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machinemalfunction
- Measure work piece dimensions todetermineaccuracy of machine operation
- Make adjustmentson machine and programs as required; remove burrs, sharp edges,rustor scale from work piece tocomply withqualitystandards
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or work pieces
- Stack, mark and transport finished parts
- Knowledge of Manufacturing software and Spreadsheet software. Ability to set up andoperateall brakes in their work area to qualify for Master Brake Operator designation, including properlymaking adjustments, consistently using pre-controls, and meeting or exceeding quality requirements
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measure, caliper, hook rule, etc.
- Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent itemsregardingsafety,quality and production
- Responsible formaintainingthe 5s program to ensure a clean workarea
- Follow and understandHOMESafe, Persona Choice and company safety manualrequirements
- Identify and rework defective work pieces tocomply withqualitystandards
- Ability to use handtools
- Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
- The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
