CNC Horizontal Machinists & 5 Axis CNC Programmer

• - Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations
• - Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
• - Perform quality control checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other inspection tools
• - Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes
• - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs
• - Maintain accurate documentation of programming and machining processes

• - Strong knowledge of CNC programming, including experience with Fanuc controls
• - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• - Experience with lathe operations and programming is preferred
• - Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
• - Solid understanding of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry
• - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
• - Familiarity with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
• - Mechanical knowledge of machining processes and equipment

• - Proficient in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc controls
• - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements
• - Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving
• - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency
• - Familiarity with GD&T for accurate interpretation of engineering drawings
• - Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues
• - Basic computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
