Production Welder – Multiple Shifts
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Production Welders to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production welding position responsible for welding and assembling metal components while meeting established quality, safety, and production standards.
We offer multiple shift options, Monday–Thursday schedules, and plenty of overtime opportunities for employees looking to maximize their hours.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday work schedules
- Multiple shifts available, including day and night shifts
- Overtime opportunities available
- Additional hours may be available based on production needs
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform production welding on metal components and assemblies according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform MIG, TIG, or other welding processes as required.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper appearance.
- Measure and position components prior to and during welding.
- Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
- Make adjustments to welding equipment and techniques to maintain quality.
- Grind, clean, and finish welded components as required.
- Maintain consistent production rates while meeting quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report equipment, material, or quality issues to the Supervisor.
- Work effectively as part of a production team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous production welding or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or other production welding processes.
- Ability to safely operate welding equipment and common hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and work in various positions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials and finished components.
- Ability to work around welding arcs, sparks, fumes, heat, and moderate-to-loud noise.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing.
