Long Term Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

LTS LPN or RN to serve as subject matter expert in general health related areas in educational school setting. LPNs/RNs working for Faribault Public Schools provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers, and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The position commences on approximately 8/19/26 with the start of the 26‑27 school year and goes until approximately 11/27/26.

The position is employed full‑time for 7.75 hours per day, 5 days per week; serving Roosevelt Early Learning Center.

• On‑site hands‑on management of routine and emergency health concerns at multiple health offices district‑wide according to district policy, guidelines, and state law.
• Daily distribution of student medications and maintenance of student health records.
• Ongoing communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator.
• Collecting and reporting data as directed by the Licensed School Nurse.

• Well‑organized, team‑oriented, and comfortable using a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• LPN or RN license; CPR and First Aid training strongly preferred; other medical certifications considered.

LPN or RN with CPR and First Aid Training strongly preferred; will consider other medical certifications.

• Hourly wage: LPN $29.30 / RN $37.93
