Assistant Manager

Overview

Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a growth role intended to develop future leaders to think strategically about the store and globally about the future of the district and Caribou as a whole. This role works in partnership with the General Manager to run the store and make an impact on the team and community.

• Relates day-to-day behaviors to broader business outcomes and develops understanding of the Profit & Loss statement.
• Organizes and improves administrative tasks and connects daily/weekly/monthly tasks to business success.
• Responsible for store funds on shift by enforcing cash-handling policies.
• Manages orders, inventory, waste control, dates, and rotation as needed.
• Thinks holistically about store success beyond the current shift to future shifts.
• Seeks root causes to create sustainable change.

• Required:
  
  1-3 years of prior restaurant or retail experience with strong customer service.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.

The physical requirements for this position include hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 4 to 8 hours, and the ability to meet these requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation Range: $16.52 - $27.53 per hour

Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.
