Mayo Clinic Patient Shuttle Driver

** Mayo Clinic Patient Shuttle Driver Summary  We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently on a dedicated route in the city of Rochester.

Key Responsibilities
* Shuttles run 5 days a week
* 7 hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
* Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
* Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as answering any questions they may have.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and passenger needs.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
* Assist in managing passenger flow during peak times to ensure timely departures.

Qualifications
* CDL* Previous experience in shuttle driving, van driving, or bus driving is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
* A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
* Experience operating motor coaches or similar vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
