Warehouse Assistant Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire (Permanent from Day
1)

Compensation: $28.00 - $33.50/hour (depending on experience)

Work Schedule:

Sunday 8:00 AM – Finish;
Monday–Thursday 12:30 PM – Finish (Averages 40–45 hours per week);
Fridays off

• As a hands-on leader, support the Logistics Supervisor by coordinating daily workflows, managing inventory, and keeping the team motivated and safe.
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to warehouse associates and order selectors; communicate performance standards and cross-train staff.
• Monitor picking lines, staging, and loading operations to ensure all route trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently.
• Track, receive, and store perishable and dry goods. Process inventory movements using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Actively move throughout the facility to jump in where needed, solve workflow bottlenecks, and ensure food safety compliance.
• Manage end-of-day closing procedures to ensure the warehouse is accurate, clean, organized, and secure.

• Experience:
  
  3 to 5 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience (experience in warehouse logistics, distribution, or vending/route-based inventory is highly preferred).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience utilizing digital Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Certifications:
  
  Valid driver’s license; forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Traits:
  Solutions-oriented leader who takes initiative, communicates clearly in English, and maintains a high level of accuracy in a fast-moving environment.

  High School
• Experience:
  
  1–4 years

Comfortable walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift in a dynamic warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to lift up to 54 lbs. and push/pull up to 95 lbs. using proper warehouse equipment.
