Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

LHH is partnering with a growing organization who is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Estimator to join its team in Carrollton, TX. This full‑time, salaried position plays a key role in producing accurate and competitive project estimates while ensuring alignment with project specifications and client expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in blueprint reading, glass and glazing systems, and construction methods.

What You’ll Do

• Review project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to develop precise estimates.
• Assess material, labor, and equipment costs for glass and glazing systems.
• Prepare bid packages and pricing proposals following internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure clarity on project requirements and cost considerations.
• Identify risks and recommend value‑engineering solutions using construction knowledge.
• Stay current on industry trends, material pricing, and construction best practices.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
• Participate in client meetings to review proposals and provide expert insights.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of estimating experience, preferably in glass and glazing systems.
• Experience with Glass Manager software preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a high level of detail orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency with estimation software and MS Office tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
