Finance Manager | Verwood | upto £40,000 FTE

As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing monthly management accounts to trial balance, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Managing cashflow, banking, reconciliations, and invoice finance processes
  • Overseeing sales and purchase ledger activity, credit control, and VAT returns
  • Running payroll, pensions, and maintaining payroll controls
  • Acting as the main point of contact for premises, utilities, and office suppliers
  • Supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of finance and office operations within a small business environment
As a Finance Manager, your experience will include:
  • Proven experience producing monthly management accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software
  • Experience managing cashflow, reconciliations, and balance sheet controls
  • Payroll processing experience, including statutory payments and pensions
  • Exposure to office management or facilities responsibilities
  • A reliable, hands‑on approach suited to a small, family‑run business
