What You ll Do
- Financial Strategy & Leadership:
You will act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights and guidance on all business decisions. You ll develop and execute the company s financial strategy to support long-term growth and profitability. Additionally, you ll lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Financial Planning & Reporting:
You will oversee all financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You ll manage all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. A key responsibility is preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports to the board of directors, investors, and internal stakeholders. - Capital Management & Fundraising:
You will manage the company s capital structure and lead fundraising efforts. You ll also oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization. - Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) &
Risk Management:
You will evaluate potential M&A opportunities and lead financial due diligence. You ll implement and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure data integrity.
- You have a Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with an MBA and/or CPA highly preferred.
- You have a minimum of 15+ years of progressive financial experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO or similar senior-level financial leadership role.
- You have proven experience in a multi-unit, high-growth environment.
- You possess a strong knowledge of restaurant industry metrics, including prime cost, labor management, and unit-level economics.
- You have demonstrated experience in capital raises, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and investor relations.
- You have exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This is a key leadership position that directly impacts the company s growth and success. The role is primarily office-based but requires moderate travel to restaurant locations. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
