Role Overview
As a Network Security Manager, you will architect, implement, and maintain cybersecurity toolsets to enhance the bank’s overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities- Manage cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, endpoint protection, email security, and internet filtering.
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals ensuring effective incident preparedness and response.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs.
- Assist in designing the security architecture, configuring and deploying hardware, software, and services.
- Act as the primary contact with external auditors and regulators to satisfy compliance requirements.
- Assist with the Vulnerability Management Program: conduct scans, track findings, and oversee remediation.
- Develop internal and external documentation including policies, procedures, playbooks, and metrics reports.
- Create, analyze, and communicate security metrics to leadership.
- Drive remediation of audit findings to completion.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in information security frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, PCI, ISO 27002, CIS Baselines).
- Relevant security certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, GSEC, etc.
- Experience scripting in Power Shell, Python, YAML, and similar languages.
- Strong organization, multitasking, deadline management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to speak impactfully and listen.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer‑related field or equivalent experience.
5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT management role, preferably in a financial services or banking environment.
