As a Software Engineer Principal Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX.

Role Overview  The Software Engineer Principal Sr provides senior engineering leadership across multiple Agile crews delivering enterprise Pega solutions. The role is accountable for Pega delivery execution, platform governance, engineering standards, and building strong internal Pega capability.
Core Management Responsibilities (PNC ASM Standard)  
• Manage multiple development crews and complex Pega delivery initiatives across a major business segment  
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Pega engineers and technical leads  
• Ensure predictable delivery through effective planning, staffing, and dependency management  
• Partner with product, architecture, risk, and operations stakeholders to align Pega solutions to business goals  
• Ensure compliance with PNC enterprise risk management, security, and regulatory standards  
• Own Pega engineering quality, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement across teams  
• Drive adoption of standard SDLC, Agile, and Dev Ops practices within the Pega platformPNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. ** Job Description
*** Leads the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions across multiple product lines.
* Directs and consults on all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoots technical problems as needed using agile methods.
* Leads complex problem solving and resolves workflow problems through automation optimization.
* Monitors security technology trends and ensures the adaptability of techniques to various system architectures. Encourages sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design.
* Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
