Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Purchasing Agent to join our shared services team.

Primary Responsibilities

Create, process, and track purchase ordersin accordance with company policies and procedures
Communicate with vendorsregardingorder details, pricing, lead times, availability, and shipping logistics
Coordinate with internal departments and end users to confirmpurchasingrequirements and ensuretimelyfulfillment
Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on delayed shipments orbackorders
Resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, pricing, or deliveries and elevate issues when necessary
Maintainaccuratepurchasing records and documentation
Assistin evaluating vendor performance, pricing, and service quality
Ensure purchased materials meet company standards and project requirements
Support inventory and supply chain processes as needed

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree oradditionalcoursework in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain coordination, or a related role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Experience with purchasing, inventory management, or ERP systems preferred
Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in construction, service, manufacturing, or distribution environments
Familiarity with vendor management and supply chain best practices
Ability to analyzepurchasingdata andidentifycost‑saving opportunities
