Shift

Shift FB D:
The regular hours for this position are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 7:15 am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Supervisor leads and develops a team of manufacturing technicians in a high‑volume, high‑precision Form Factor semiconductor fab environment
. This role is responsible for executing daily production plans, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and driving continuous improvement across assigned shifts or production areas.

Key Responsibilities Production & Operations
  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet throughput, quality, cost, and cycle‑time objectives.
  • Execute production schedules, capacity plans, and work priorities across assigned tools and processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including yield, equipment utilization, scrap, and on‑time delivery.
  • Escalate and coordinate resolution of production issues impacting safety, quality, or output.
People Leadership
  • Directly supervise and develop a team of manufacturing technicians and operators.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings, performance check‑ins, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
  • Execute hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and timekeeping activities.
  • Complete formal performance reviews and succession development planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce compliance with safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and EHS standards.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO, quality system, and fab operating procedures.
  • Participate in audits, corrective actions, and root‑cause investigations.
  • Champion safe work practices and immediate response to safety incidents.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and cycle time using Lean / Six Sigma principles.
  • Lead kaizen events, standard work creation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between technicians, engineers, and management.
  • Communicate production status, risks, and corrective actions clearly and proactively.
  • Support change management initiatives and implementation of new tools or processes.
