Overview
We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) to provide intensive care to patients with life‑threatening conditions. The ICU RN will use advanced critical‑care skills, make rapid decisions, and provide compassionate care. Key duties include monitoring vital signs, administering IV fluids, communicating with the medical team, and modifying care plans.
Bonus Options: up to $10,000 (paid as a stipend)

Hours: 12‑hour shifts – 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

If you have experience in the ICU, Emergency Room (ER), Emergency Department (ED) or other critical care area of the hospital you are encouraged to apply.
- Deliver high‑quality care to critically ill patients by performing detailed assessments, developing care plans, and implementing complex nursing interventions.
- Use advanced equipment like cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and capnography devices to continuously track vital signs and physiological parameters.
- Safely administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precise dosing and timing, closely monitoring patient responses to ensure effectiveness and prevent adverse reactions.
- Manage life‑support devices such as ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, acting as a liaison to ensure they understand the care being provided.
- Document all aspects of patient care to ensure continuity and compliance while rigorously maintaining infection control and safety protocols to protect vulnerable patients.
Deal‑breakers:
You must have:
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
