Software Engineer Lead - Informatica​/Development

As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH or Dallas.

• Hands on development and support experience with Informatica, Oracle database, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Perform advanced ETL development activities using Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle Database tuning, SQL tuning, and Informatica Server administration.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain ETL components for multiple applications.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers and interact closely with lines of business and project teams.
• Perform highly complex software development activities, demonstrating strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Production system problem resolution and support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interact with all levels of management and teams.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure with strict timelines.
• Self‑starter, highly motivated, passionate, enthusiastic, and “CAN-DO” attitude.

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs; prepares technical and procedural documentation.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues; reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

• Experience with code deployment tools such as Udeploy, Artifactory, and Git Hub.
• Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of ETL – Informatica.
• Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL.
• Application Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Informatica MDM, Informatica Power Center, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) Design.
• Application Delivery Process, Application Design, Architecture, Application Development Tools, Application Testing, Packaged Application Integration, System Development Life Cycle, Technical Troubleshooting.

Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree, with 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Bachelor’s degree. No required certification or license.

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
