As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.

Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience With- Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining high-volume, distributed RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Proven experience leading and driving complex technical enterprise engagements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Strong working experience leveraging Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- Event‑driven architecture using Kafka/MQ.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes/Open Shift and/or other cloud‑based container management platforms.
- Proficiency in Oracle/SQL/MySQL, in‑memory databases such as Redis, and Hibernate/ORMs.
- Hands‑on experience with unit testing frameworks Spock/JUnit and code quality control platforms like Sonar Qube.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Dynatrace and Logscale.
- Core Java (Java 11+ preferably Java 17).
- Java‑based microservices frameworks including Spring Boot 3+, Spring JPA, Spring Batch.
- Gradle and/or Maven.
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs and prepares required technical and procedural documentation.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues; reviews coding, testing, and documentation.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
- Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions.
- Managing Risk – Assesses and effectively manages all risks associated with business objectives and activities to support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
