As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX or Strongsville, OH.

• Lead the design and development of rich, responsive, and scalable UI applications using Angular.
• Own front‑end architecture decisions, including component design, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Kafka, Gradle;
  Angular/UI knowledge is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, Microservices, Open Shift or other cloud services (AWS, Azure), Spring Boot, Web Sphere, Apache, Apigee.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, UDeploy.
• Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle.
• Experience creating monitoring dashboards in tools such as Dynatrace, Humio/Splunk.
• Strong debugging skills – experience in performance tuning, JVM profiling, capacity planning.
• Experience in monitoring, maintenance and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance.
• Experience in SQL, Oracle and Mongo databases.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring onshore/offshore developers; strong communication skills.

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.

Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 03/26/2026, although it may be longer with business discretion.
