Serra Ford Farmington Hills is seeking a versatile and experienced Ford Certified Technician to join our fast-paced service department. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded automotive professional capable of performing a variety of general repairs across all vehicle systems. • Perform general automotive repairs efficiently and accurately across engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, steering, and other systems
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer service equipment
• Complete work orders according to dealership and Ford service standards
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to update customers on additional services and repair timelines
• Execute warranty and standard repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure customer vehicles are returned in excellent condition

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a general automotive technician, specifically with Ford vehicles (preferred)
• Broad knowledge of all vehicle systems and ability to perform multiple types of repairs
• Ability to read and follow service manuals, instructions, and diagnostic information
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot a wide range of vehicle issues
• Skilled in general automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools and repair equipment
